cropped, off-the-shoulder shirt & paper-bag pants
Summers in Toronto has been good to us this month, but it hasn’t convinced me enough to sport a crop top and shorts long enough to last me through the entire day without getting cold. Evenings get a little chilly and sometimes there is a surprise rain shower. So I wore this crop, off-shoulder shirt with high-waisted, paper-bag pants just to be safe. Why is it called a paper-bag? Because the scrunched waistline, material and colour looks like a paper-bag. The pants is a super thin poplin fabric that is cool enough to battle heat and take me into the evening and still be warm enough to justify wearing a crop top. I’d be too shy to show off more of my midriff if I didn’t wear a high-rise pant (he-he!).
