how to resuscitate your wardrobe from season to season
Nothing new, but just some old favourites I pulled out from hibernation as I transition myself mentally as well as my closet to the spring season. It’s so great to keep a few classic pieces that won’t fall out of trend and that is easily styled with new season pieces. The pale pink coat, cold shoulder top and distressed jeans are all oldies but it does not change for the spring/summer season trends.
Right now, I am resisting real hard from making new purchases as more expenses are coming my way. Living alone is hard and chasing the latest trends is very costly so I try very hard to only invest in timeless pieces that carry a long life than giving them away once I’m no longer interested. Which is why, my wardrobe is very shaded lately – blacks, whites, greys, nudes and muted tones I can see myself wearing over and over again. I don’t go for extreme cuts, colours and prints for that primary reason. Simplicity is forever.
