Hello from Athens! My dreams have finally become reality and it’s unbelievable that I am finally here in Greece. The weather is just the right amount of heat to endure long walks around the metropolis and the scenery reflects my visions of Greece. My friends and I briefly followed Lonely Planet’s 2 day itinerary to make the best out of Athens in the 2 days that we were there.
Day 1: We flew in early morning and trekked through the streets to the glorious Acropolis, then wind down through the Monastiraki Flea Market for some fresh berries to take back home. Then headed back to our headquarters for dinner at Seychelles in Athina to call it a night.
Day 2: We started our morning with a couple of photoshoots and breakfast in our rooftop balcony, followed by a super long nap. After the nap, we headed to the Acropolis Museums for the Parthenon masterpieces and picked up a few gifts on the way. We ambled around the grand promenade and had ice cream at the cafes of Thisio before dinner at a restaurant in Plaka.
