#nyfw look 1: tonal dressing
Here I am again in New York for NYFW Spring/Summer 2016. I am ecstatic to be here again for the second time but I was not prepared for the freezing and windy weather in New York. Dressing for the streets is challenging because we all want to look our best, stand out and get photographed by the street style photographers.
I’ve learned to pack on more layers than the usual, like layering with another coat on top. I really wished I had a big fur coat at this moment. I actually had to buy a pair of earmuffs from the street vendors and a new pair of furry hand warmers for survival.
For Day 2 of NYFW, I kept it ultra neutral with camel-beige tones. I styled this Autograph fluffy sweater dress with a staple white shirt and my favourite camel coat. Over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman boots was a necessity, so I don’t know how the other girls were able to wear sandals and not get frostbites.
