When I think of boho, the first couple things that come to mind are ruffled floral dresses and hippie nostalgia. This boho style is so easy to replicate. It is often translated by natural flowy silhouettes and many layers of fabrics – light and beautiful. The look is very popular during the warmer weathers – spring and summer, but a winter boho look works the same way too.
Got a nice ruffly dress that you want to resuscitate for the winter? Slip it on. I love to wear it with OTK boots to keep your legs warm or heavy combat boots to balance the soft look on top and hard look on bottom. Second, wear tights or skinny ripped jeans underneath your dresses. You can still have the Boho vibe with this type of layering. Lastly, we need to stay warm in style, so top everything with a coat. I feel like a fur coat or vest is the perfect finale to top off a chic winter bohemian outfit.
P.S. don’t forget to style your hair in loose wavy curls or I-woke-up-like-this textured hair (use Sea Salt spray for natural volume and texture) with lots of accessories. Cheers to the weekend!
